1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how solvly global limited (“solvly”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses, transfers, retains, and otherwise processes personal data when you visit our website or contact us about the solvly product.
We handle personal data in accordance with:
- The Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) (“PDPO”) and the Data Protection Principles (“DPPs”);
- The Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”) and PDPC Advisory Guidelines, including guidance on personal data in AI systems, where applicable;
- The People’s Republic of China Personal Information Protection Law (“PIPL”), Data Security Law (“DSL”), and Cybersecurity Law (“CSL”), where applicable; and
- The PCPD’s Model Personal Data Protection Framework for Artificial Intelligence (June 2024) and related guidance.
2. Who we are
For the PDPO, solvly is the “data user” for personal data we collect about website visitors and business contacts. For the PDPA, solvly is the “organisation” responsible. For the PIPL, solvly is the “personal information handler” where applicable.
When a customer uses the solvly product to process personal data of its own data subjects, that customer is the controller / data user / personal information handler, and solvly acts as processor / data intermediary / entrusted party under a Data Processing Agreement.

3. Scope
This Policy applies to personal data processed in connection with:
- our public websites and marketing channels;
- sales, onboarding, and support interactions;
- recruitment and business contacts; and
- operational telemetry from the solvly product (limited as described below).
It does not govern personal data that you, as our customer, process through the solvly product as controller. Those activities are governed by your own notice and our DPA.

We collect personal data directly from you, from your colleagues or employer where appropriate, and automatically when you use our websites.

6. Website forms and processors
Contact forms on this website are processed on solvly’s web host and delivered by email to a mailbox controlled by solvly global limited. Do not include sensitive personal data in free-text fields.
This website does not use third-party analytics that ship visitor data offshore. If that changes, this Policy will be updated before any such tool is enabled.
7. AI-specific disclosures
solvly’s product is architected so that prompts and responses remain in the client environment. We do not use customer data processed via the solvly product to train foundation models or to develop services for other customers.
We do not make decisions about website visitors that produce legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing without human oversight.
8. Sharing and disclosure
We may share personal data with:
- service providers bound by written contracts (including our web host for form delivery);
- professional advisers;
- authorities where required by law; and
- parties to a corporate transaction, subject to confidentiality protections.
We do not sell personal data.
9. Cross-border transfers
The solvly product is designed to support data-residency choices, including private and on-premises deployments. Website form data is processed on our web host and emailed to solvly. We transfer personal data from Hong Kong only where consistent with the PDPO and PCPD guidance, using contractual safeguards and risk assessment of the destination.
10. Retention
- Enquiry and sales correspondence: as needed to manage the relationship, then up to seven years where required for legal claims;
- Marketing data: until you unsubscribe plus 12 months;
- Website logs: up to 24 months;
- Recruitment data (unsuccessful applicants): up to 24 months, with consent.
11. Security
We implement administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the data we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. See also our Security page.
12. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have rights of access, correction, withdrawal of consent (including for direct marketing), and other rights under the PDPO, PDPA, and PIPL. To exercise rights, contact privacy@solvly.ai. We respond within the period required by applicable law.
You may lodge a complaint with the PCPD (Hong Kong), PDPC (Singapore), or CAC (PRC) as applicable.
13. Cookies
This website uses only cookies or similar technologies strictly necessary for basic operation, if any. There is no marketing or analytics cookie wall beyond what a privacy-first tool would require - and no such analytics tool is currently enabled.
14. Children
Our services are intended for business use and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
15. Changes
We will update this Policy as our practices or the law evolves. The “Last updated” date indicates the latest revision.
